CHC Navigation Introduces i76 Palm Visual IMU-RTK: Efficient CAD&AR for Surveying
Shanghai, China - May 28, 2024 - CHC Navigation (CHCNAV), a global leader in GNSS technology, introduced the i76 GNSS, a lightweight and rugged palm-sized surveying GNSS receiver designed for precision and ease of use in challenging conditions. With the integration of GNSS, IMU, and dual cameras, the i76 GNSS provides centimeter-level accuracy, enhanced durability, and advanced CAD+AR capabilities to streamline the surveying process.
"The i76 receiver represents a new step forward for CHCNAV in providing users with highly integrated surveying solutions," said Rachel Wang, Product Manager at CHC Navigation. "Its powerful functionality, packaged in an amazingly compact and rugged design, provides surveyors with unparalleled efficiency and usability in the field."

EFFICIENT CAD+AR STAKEOUT
The i76 improves stakeout efficiency by up to 40% by integrating CAD base maps with augmented reality (AR) visualization. This combination of GNSS, IMU, AR, and MR technologies provides a comprehensive and intuitive view of site layouts, facilitating efficient path planning and minimizing unnecessary detours. From intelligently predicting the direction of a pipeline to streamlining landscaping and foundation construction, the i76's AR overlay optimizes complex operations and ensures accurate stakeout.
LAST GENERATION ANTENNAS, GNSS, AND IMU
The i76 features a 4th generation air-medium GNSS antenna and hybrid GNSS engine optimized for reliable performance in solar active regions. With full tracking of GNSS constellations, it provides exceptional resistance to multipath and interference, supported by iStar 2.0 technology and ionospheric interference suppression. The interference-free 5th generation Ultra-IMU operates at 200 Hz for optimal automatic pole tilt compensation, maintaining accuracy within 3 centimeters even at a 60-degree tilt, eliminating the need for bubble centering.

COMPACT SIZE, RUGGED DURABILITY
Weighing just 450 g, the i76 redefines portability while maintaining exceptional durability. At half the size of standard models, this palm-sized receiver enhances fieldwork mobility and ensures an exceptional user experience. Designed to withstand harsh environments, the i76's biomimetic structure and sapphire camera lenses provide resilience to shocks, scratches, and challenging conditions. The energy-efficient lithium battery provides more than 17 hours of continuous operation, ensuring reliable performance during intensive fieldwork.
