GNSS Advancements for AEC: Virtual Conference Experience (VCX) Event September 9-10, 2020

CHCNAV will participate in the "GNSS Advancements for the AEC" with presentations on September 9, 2020 (GMT-6).
GNSS has undergone expansion and modernization, with a nearly doubling of satellites and 3rd signal implementation - much of this occurring in the past few years. The utility of GNSS as an essential foundation for digitization of engineering, construction, surveying, asset mapping, digital twins, autonomy, robotics, machine guidance, monitoring, and infrastructure IoT.
The upcoming GNSS Advancements for AEC Virtual Conference Experience is bringing Geospatial sponsors and expert speakers together to hold a free virtual conference focused on the new era of GNSS.
The GNSS Advancements for AEC - VCX Event will address these issues:
- Advances in GNSS Constellations and Signals
- GNSS Applications for Construction
- GNSS Applications in Surveying and Asset Mapping
- GNSS Integration with Drones and Vehicles
Dr. Xin Shi, Chief Scientist and Ronald Ramsaran, Director of Product Development at CHCNAV will be giving a presentation on the topic of “Multiple constellations and L-Band PPP Applications”.
Topic: Multiple constellations and L-Band PPP Applications
Time: 3:00PM - 3:45PM MDT | 5:00PM - 5:45PM EDT 09/09/2020 (GMT-6)
This presentation introduces the multiple constellations and a relatively new solution utilizing Precise Point Positioning (PPP) and L-Band satellite communication channels. The advantages include lower cost, more application scenarios and global coverage. Furthermore, the enhanced existing and emerging applications enabled by L-Band PPP is to be discussed.
